Muhammad s.a.w. said:
"Nothing is worse than a person who fills his stomach. It should be enough for the son of Adam to have a few bites to satisfy his hunger. If he wishes more, it should be: One-third for his food, one-third for his liquids, and one-third for his breath."(Narated byTirmidzi and Ibn Maajah)
As we all know, certain country calling dates as kurma or tamar. There is also scientific name given by a reseacher to identify it. In Al-Quran and hadith, we can find so many sunnah food to eat, drink and get benefits from it. Here are some of the sunnah food and sources gathered from Al-Quran and hadith that we we can share.
1) English: Dates

- Rasulullah s.a.w. as reported to have visited Sa’d ibn Abi Waqqas when he was ill in Makkah and he asked for a doctor to examine him. They brought Al-Harith bin Kaladah who examined him and said, “There is no harm with him, just cook some fenugreek with dates and let him eat them.” Sa’d was reported to have done that and was healed.
